Hi guys, my name is Lauren Palmbach and I am hoping to be a part of this trip to Swaziland this summer. Im currently a junior at my public high school. I have my passions in my life, including the arts, my family and God. My family is very important to me and have been a huge part of lifting me up in my faith and sustaining me everyday. I also value time with peers to just have fun when I am not at church, with my family or involved in studies. For years now I have felt a tugg at my heart to travel to africa. I spent my spring break last year in Guatemala, which was a very moving experience for me and I was touched by God’s heart for the town I was planted in. Since that trip, I feel that God has been pressing on my heart to venture to Africa in his name. After debating looking for trips for months, God started to speak to me through other people in small ways until it got to the point where i could not ignore his voice anymore. That day I went onto the AIM sight and found this trip. I stayed up through the night praying and feel that this would be in God’s will for me to go if there is room due to many things that align with where my heart is about the trip. I hope to join you all on the trip, but overall, I pray that God will be glorified – i think that AIM is an awsome organization and would love to be a part of this adventure to Africa.
