Hi,
my name is Rob De Graff. I am 16, and I turn 17 on March 14 of 2008.
God’s pretty much stolen me for his glory. I’m very down to earth and
quite mellow. I do have some struggles as does any Christian, and I’m
not afraid to admit it. I live in a smaller rural town about an hour
south of Chicago. I’m a junior an Covenant Christian High School which
120 students attend. I love my high school to death because God has
unique people in one place, and there are many opportunities to serve
God. I play the tuba in band. I manage for guys soccer and basketball,
I love to help out and hang with my friends at the same time. I do
drama and the school plays, it’s a passion. I love Christian music…and
alternative stuff that isn’t too worldly. I’m on chapel committee and
like the challenge of leadership. I’ve been blessed with Christian
parents, and I am thankful for them despite some of their short
comings. I have a rather energetic and bubbly little sister named
Rachael who is now in 6th grade as well as a brother, Dan who is 18 and
now a Freshman in college. I have a passion for God’s mission to spread
the Word of the Gospel as well as be the hands and feet of God, doing
his work. I’ve been to Mississippi a couple times on Hurricane Katrina
work trips. I’ve been to Costa Rica on a missions/work trip and I’ve
been to Swaziland, Africa with AIM this past summer. I spent a month
with 9 girls and one guy in Swaziland, so I’m pretty comfortable around
any group of people. I like four wheeling. I like to have fun with my
friends and goof around. I’m not huge into sports if the Bears or White
Sox are losing. I like building relationships a.k.a. discipleship. I
love theology and the study of Reformed theology. I’m kind of a
theology geek, I like stuff by John Piper, Jonathan Edwards, C.S.
Lewis, John MacArthur, and Mark Driscoll. You’ll quickly see that I’m
the quiet type, but I’m very friendly and do my best to respect and
love everyone I meet.
