guys are doing a great job with everything! Training camp is coming up
soon… then Swaziland!!! We are praying for you all!
I couldn’t really determine what the most significant truth I learned was, so I have a couple things.
One was that we need to get away from all the noise and pray. And learn to shut our mouths so we can listen. “Sacred silence so God could be heard” -not sure who that’s from.
The other was the reason for missions, to make the Lord’s name great among the nations. And that missions is not the end, it is only the means to an end. Worship is the goal.
Funny, I don’t remember that picture being taken. Thank you for sharing Whitney! 🙂
No.. Way! Seth.. wow dude..
The coolest thing that i learned in the journey this past week, was how if like, i die to myself and all…. that’s how I find life in Christ. By surrender. That was really awesome to me and He used that and the verses to that to confirm some things i was searching to find and answer to. So that was really flippin sweet and encouraging. =]
Seth is skinny! Daaaang! =p
Good work Whitney, this is awesome! You win the prize for the most creative leader! Seth, we’ll see what we can do to fatten you up in Swaziland. You guys are so fun, I’m excited to be leading with you guys!
I’m really enjoing the journey is gives me a structure to follow each day which is great. one thing that really stuck out to me was that i’m really quite different than some of the people i hang out with not that their all bad of that im better than in any way but a couple of my friends dont understand the reason for me going an no matter how many times i explain it they still dont understand. So i guess thats what was thruth was revealed to me this week.
