Hi! My name is SarahLaine Redding. I am 17 years old and a soon-to-be senior at
Woodstock High School in Woodstock, GA. I was born in my favorite state; the
giant corn-field full of basketball-loving hoosiers, Indiana. My home town is
Greensburg, IN where we are famous for the tree that grows out of the top of our
courthouse. I am a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan and am still holding on to
last years reign as WORLD CHAMPIONS. My family and I moved to Murfreesboro,
Tennessee where I lived for elementary and part of middle school. My dad then
got a new job in Woodstock, where I live now. I am the oldest of 4 children, I
have two sisters and one little brother (named Camille, William, and Mallory). I
go to Noonday Baptist Church and I love it. I have felt called to missions for
most of my life as a teenager, it all came to a head when I went to BigStuf camp
last summer and met Compassion International’s children in Kenya. My little boy
Kelvin has changed my life. He is the sweetest young man I have ever met and his
drawings that I hang on my wall inspire me more everyday. I am planning on
becoming a neonatal nurse when I “grow up” and cant get enough of holding and
taking care of babies. I love my Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart and try
to be more like him as much as I can. Let’s see.. I have two cats, they are
brothers, their names are Dave and Buster (yes after the restaurant/game place)
And I have a Welsh terrier puppy named Ruby Dee who is the best dog in the
world. That’s pretty much it. (Oh and I LOVE chocolate and coffee.. I have a
problem)

  1. Sarah Laine- I am excited that you are a part of this team! That is incredible that you feel that the Lord has called you to the mission field, and you are taking this step of obedience to Swaziland. I look forward to getting to know you more this summer!

  2. hey girl! Wow, I always wanted to go to Kenya. I also want to become a registered pediatric nurse. I love children. I am excited to meet you and hopefully together we can all make a difference in Swaziland.

  3. SarahLaine –
You live in Woodstock, eh? That’s just up the road from me here in Gainesville. Matter of fact, I’ll be in Woodstock tomorrow morning for a doctor’s appt. Small world. Your heart for children is evident and I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses you to love on his kids in Swazi.
